Blossom Punch included with Stamper/Scrapper Ticket

Stampin' Up's catalogue dates are changing this year.  The new Catalogue starts on June 1st....just in time for unveiling at Stamp-A-Rama (how exciting!!).  So rather than give you a stamp set in your goody bag that might be retiring, we've decided for this Stamp-A-Rama to include a punch. 

You'll be receiving the beautiful Blossom Punch (from the Occasions Mini Catalogue) or if you already have this punch, pick the punch/product of your choice at $22.95 or less. We've already got some of your projects planned using this punch (with lots of other fun stamp sets and some sneak peaks too!).

Christmas Ginger Cookies

At our last Stamp-A-Rama event, one of our organizers Nancy, did the baking for our afternoon snack.

Everyone loved her gingersnap cookies.

If you need some holiday baking, here's the receipe.

Nancy’s Ginger Cookies

• 6 cups all-purpose flour
• 3 cups sugar
• 1 tablespoon baking soda
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1 tablespoon ground ginger
• 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
• 1-1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
• ¾ teaspoons ground cloves
• ½ teaspoon ground allspice

ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS:

• ¾ cup butter or margarine, softened
• 1 egg
• ¼ cup molasses
• Additional sugar

In a bowl, combine the first nine ingredients; mix well.

Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to six months.

Yield:  3 Batches (9 cups total)

To prepare cookies:

1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter. Mix egg, and molasses; mix well.
2. Add 3 cups cookie mix; beat until smooth. Shape into 1-inch balls
3. And roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
4. Bake at 375 for 9 – 11 minutes, or until the edges are firm and the
5. Surface cracks. Cool on wire racks.
   
   Yield: about 4 dozen per batch.

Thank  you for the most awesome day. From the moment my friends arrived at my door to the moment the doors opened for Stamparama I knew today was going to be wonderful. The room was set up with tables decorated with inks, paper, glitter, stamps and treats.  The store was just waiting for customers and the WOW tables were keeping me in suspense. 

 The day was more than I expected. Big Shot Winner!

Amy Cook was the big winner at Stamp-A-Rama on October 22nd.  We had hundreds of dollars worth of prizes and Amy won the grand prize of a Big Shot.

Picture a perfect Day!

You arrive at the Seniors Centre for 9:30 a.m. and get your fabulous goody bag filled with your new Punch, project ideas, make and take baggies and more.

  

Browse around the incredible displays and extraordinary card samples, scrapbooks and 3D objects!  Swap cards with other participants.  For swap details click HERE. Check out our My Digital Studio (software for digital crafting) display.  Purchase tickets for our 50/50 draw.

 

Get settled in your seat, grab a drink, check out the displays and label your new Punch. 

 

At 10:00 we'll have a quick introduction by the presenters and draw for the first of many wonderful door prizes. 

Then take a tour around the room to see the amazing technique demonstrations going on around the room.  We have assembled a group of amazing demonstrators who have some cool techniques and projects to show you.  We've given you even more time to make sure you see them all.   

And, new for this Stamp-A-Rama, we'll be alternating WOWs with making projects, so you get lots of time to recharge before we blow your mind again!    

 

 At lunch time, we'll have a yummy sandwich for lunch (you can choose a ham, turkey, assorted or veggie sub) on a fresh bun with all the fixings, and some sweet treats for dessert.  Mr. Sub is our lunch supplier. You can customize your lunch choices on your registration form.

We'll have more door prizes throughout the day.  

You'll also have time to visit our store with handmade products, and discounted products, stamps sets and more.  

 

Throughout the day, you'll be making EIGHT different stamping projects (even more this year!) to take home. You'll use your new stamp set, some fun accessories, and more.  Get set for some marvellous projects and learn new tips and tricks too.

We'll also have a special project where you stamp a card for the Ronald McDonald House Hamilton (and one for yourself!).  

We'll finish off the day  at 4 p.m. with even MORE prizes (wowzers!) and of course our BIG SHOT draw.

It will be a perfect Day.  Hope you can join us.

Thank you for Help with Ronald McDonald House cards

Thank you to all of our attendees of the October 2010 Stamp-A-Rama who stamped these donation cards for Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton, Ontario.  This is a full basket of over 80 cards which we will donate on your behalf.  Thank you for helping!

Eveyone stamped two of these cards....one for the House and one to keep.

 

 

This card was a sympathy card as, sadly, the house said this was a need they had.  But we also offered an alternate Christmas card version.

The one card was made with the stamp set "Herb Expressions"  and the other with the Stamp Set participants got in their registration goody bag "Bells & Boughs".
